Sara Agerton has spent 20 years as a social worker — and years more turning that same instinct into action on energy and climate as a Mechanicsburg Borough Councilmember.

She helped pass the Borough’s Climate Action Plan and moved it toward planting 500 trees by 2025, while securing grants for local environmental projects like tree planting and food-waste education. As State Representative, Sara will fight to lower Pennsylvanians’ energy bills, expand access to renewable energy, and grow community solar — so families who can’t put panels on their own roof can still benefit from clean, affordable power. For Sara, this isn’t new: it’s the same work she’s always done, just at a bigger scale.
